Introduction

This project has been a gift from the gods to me.

Over ten years ago I wrote in my Projects To Be Done file: Videos for Pre and Post-Surgery Patients and their Caregivers. I visualized using the ocean as a healing modality for pre-surgery; and the effervescent energy of a waterfall for the recuperation period.

Two and a half years ago, through Ben Bryant, I met Eric Brown who thought this was such a great idea he decided to produce it. As we began creating the programs, it occurred to me that we needed a third product for the time when everyone was "better". In the Lap of Luxury fills that niche and is designed to sustain radiant health and well-being throughout life.

Here's how the Better & Better Series has evolved:

Volume 1 Pre-Surgery Healing Support Programs DVDs and CDs (audio version of DVDs), and two Better & Better Guidebooks for Patient and Caregiver Volume 2 Post-Surgery Healing Support Programs DVDs and CDs (audio version of DVDs), and two Better & Better Guidebooks for Patient and Caregiver Volume 3 In the Lap of Luxury DVD and CD Program to sustain radiant health, and an In the Lap of Luxury Better & Better Guidebook for Anyone and Everyone

Each program abounds with the stunning beauties of nature, exquisite original music by composer, Rick Baitz, guided meditations (or therapeutic suggestions) and a song.

Pre-Surgery was shot at a gorgeous beach in East Hampton, NY engaging the lulling sounds of the surf and the magnificent expanse of sea and sky to soothe and relax the patient and caregiver;

Post-Surgery, at a beautiful waterfall in NC in the Spring utilizing cascading water and the freshness and newness of Springtime to energize and facilitate the recuperative process.

In the Lap of Luxury is set in glorious Lake George and provides peace, beauty and serenity to ease the relentless demands on our body/mind systems and set the stage for optimal health and well-being.

Having been both patient (six surgeries in four years) and caregiver on many occasions,
I'm acutely aware of how potentially stessful the surgery process can be on everyone involved.
This is why we created separate product for the caregiver, the music and visuals are the same but the meditations differ to address their specific needs.
